What is the purpose of a Brand Board, you ask?
Before creating a website, before placing your offerings out to the world, it’s important to know your brand inside and out, from design, logos, palettes, writing style…
But even before that, who is your target market? Who is your dream client? And what emotional response would you love to evoke in them?
By answering a set of questions and developing a set of Brand Guidelines, you can create a reliable and effective brand personality. This will influence everything you create, from your logo, colour palette, images, design, and the language you use. Each of these curated decisions convert to dream clients becoming devoted customers — and don’t forget, these are the people who will refer you to others, over and over again.
What is a Branding Board exactly?
Your Branding Board is a one-page document that showcases your brand in a snapshot, leading to consistency at all levels of the start-up. Use it to send to designers, writers and creatives when building anything for your brand to ensure you’re all on the same page. After all, consistency is what leads to brand awareness!
